We welcome you to become a member of The Clydesdale Breeders of the U.S.A.!

The Association is open to all people interested in the well being and advancement of the breed and has a membership that reaches into the four corners of the United States, and across the World! Its purpose is the collection, revision, and publication of the history and pedigrees of purebred Clydesdale horses, and whatever else the Board of Directors and its members deem is in the interest of serving the breed and its breeders.

Membership & Fees:
​
A membership with the Clydesdale Breeders of the U.S.A. is a one time fee. This membership conveys voting privileges for Board of Directors, and offers substantial reductions in all paperwork at a membership fee. Anyone who plans on breeding or owning Clydesdale horses can ill-afford not to become a members, as doing a few paperwork transactions at the member rate quickly pays for the fee! A copy of the by-laws governing the Association is available to each new member.

Clydesdale Enthusiasts under the age of 18 years are welcome to become members of the Clydesdale Breeders of the U.S.A. for $25. Youth Members will have all the privileges and will adhere to all the rules of a member with the exception of voting privileges. A Youth Membership expires on December 31st of the year that the individual reaches the age of 18. If the individual wishes to remain a lifetime member with the Clydesdale Breeders of the U.S.A., they must elect to continue the membership by paying the additional $175 membership fee at that time.

Annual Dues:
​
Once you have become a member, you have the option of paying Annual Dues, which keep you on the active mailing list. This entitles you to publications, mailings, and services described below in the dues renewal packages. Annual dues are always payable by December 31st of each year. Dues must be paid by December 15th to be included in the Clydesdale News Publication Membership List. Dues reminder notices are sent to all active members.
Once you have become a Youth Member, you are eligible to pay your annual dues of $15. By paying your annual dues, you will receive a copy of the Clydesdale News as well as the “active member” token. Your name will also be listed in the back of the Clydesdale News as an Active Youth Member! A reminder will be mailed to you each year to renew your Annual Dues.
